About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Network Development & Design, the Network Development Specialist has a key role in the coordination of agency agreements and related activities to support Honda’s network development strategy and standards.  All activities involve a high level of communication and interaction with the Honda Network and Honda Centre Owners.

This is a Permanent Full-Time Opportunity! 

How you’ll make an impact

This role presents the opportunity to support both operational and strategic activities, including:

  • Ensure Honda Australia maintains a Network that operates within established guidelines.
  • Support in the development of strategic direction and future Honda Network Agency Agreements.
  • Provide high quality and timely analysis and insights into Network Profitability.
  • Discuss facility proposal changes with Honda Centre Owners, coordination with external suppliers and preparation of internal proposals for approval.
  • Prepare and coordinate new appointments or changes to Agency Agreements.
  • Coordinate Buy/Sell transfers – including assessment, internal proposals and coordination with Regional Office to ensure key timelines are met and requirements of the Franchise Code are complied with.
  • Manage facility assessment and audit process.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

What you’ll bring to Honda

  • Project management experience is desirable. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to persuasively communicate and build relationships.
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Prior experience with PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Prior experience working in a regulated environment or being able to demonstrate understanding of business and legal risk in commercial undertakings.
